Editing your podcast can be a huge headache. Especially when you are not advanced or have knowledge of podcast editing. Editing podcast can be very tedious, stressful and time consuming if you are not much of a public speaker and have a lot of “mess ups”. Many podcasters who have trouble speaking on a microphone are more likely to make spoken word mistakes, tongue ties, long pauses and stutters in their words.

For some reason there are a number of new podcasters who think if they purchase the same high end podcast gear that the pros use their podcast will produce the same audio quality as the pros. This is not true. Using the best podcasting gear does not guarantee a quality audio podcast just as a pair of Michael Jordan basketball shoes will not make you play like Michael Jordan. There are other factors that must be considered other than purchasing the same podcast gear of the pros.
